Spring 2009 Strategy & Operations Healthcare Case Competition

Bruin Consulting teamed up with DaVita and Riordan's Healthcare Management Program at the Anderson School of Management to bring to UCLA its first healthcare-themed strategy & operations case competition. 17 teams of 4-5 students had 36 hours to work on a case, develop recommendations, and present it to a panel of judges in management consulting, private equity, and various industries. The competition case was authored by ZS Associates, a fast-growing healthcare consulting firm, and centered around the launch of an asthma product called InhalaFlo.  Deloitte Consulting hosted a 3 hour strategy and analysis workshop to prepare teams. Competition judges came from DaVita, Bain & Company, Deloitte Consulting, ZS Associates, Blue Shield of California, Southern California Edison, and Doostang.

Fall 2008 Consulting Expo

Over 100 students came to meet firms at the BC Consulting Expo, an annual career fair that brings together students, UCLA student organizations, and consulting firms.
