One Case. 36 hours. Your Career.
Gain an opportunity to develop original solutions to a real business problem from CAST Management Consultants.You will have 36 hours to work on an exciting business case and then present your recommendations to a panel of consultants from: CAST Managment, Bain, Deloitte, LEK, Mercer, Monitor, and ZS Associates.
This is an excellent way to apply your theoretical UCLA knowledge and gain some hard skills necessary for success in the business world. A great learning experience, this provides an exclusive look into the work of a consultant.
The case competition consists of a Case Prep Workshop on Thursday, April 15th and the actual Competition on Saturday, April 17th. See below for details.
All majors are welcome to compete, and no prior business knowledge is required.
Case Prep Workshop
Time: 7 - 9 pm
Location: Boelter 5440
Learn crucial Excel and Powerpoint from experienced Deloitte professionals. Moreover, get a background on the case information provided. These skills and case information are necessary to create a succinct, accurate set of recommendations. The case will be released at 9 pm.
Mandatory attendance for all participating teams.
Refreshments Provided.
Business Casual Attire.
Case Competition Day
Time: 8 am - 5 pm
Location: Royce Hall
The main event. This is your chance to learn by doing and make a name for yourself in front of the top consulting companies today. The competition consists of first rounds in the morning and three finalists in the afternoon. You will also have the opportunity to hear from our keynote speaker (TBA).
